This Tuesday concludes the European Mobility Week. A lot of cities in Europe decided to participate in this program including some Polish cities. On Tuesday  you will enjoy Free Public Transportation in Warsaw, according to the official website of the Public transportation (ZTM) you will not need on this day to buy or validate a ticket. The gates on the metro station will remain open, and the ticket machines will not be working on this day.

The city is encouraging people to leave the car in their houses with the idea of having less pollution on the capital. It is a great initiative.

So remember, if a ticket-revisor  on Tuesday is asking you for a valid ticket, well maybe he will be trying to cheat you.

Some other cities in Poland like: Lodz, Wroclaw and Krakow are also participating in this program, but you must check the information on the local transportation system to see if the tickets will also be free on this day.
