Roberto Luna, I was born in Mexico City. Now I am living in Warsaw since 2 years ago approximately.

Why did you decide to move to Poland?

I came for the first time as an exchange student, I fell in ove with the country and I went back on holidays a couple of times. But I always wanted to study my Master’s Degree in this country, and I am doing it now.

What are you doing in Poland? Are you working or studying? Do you have a business in Poland?

I am a Master Student in Business Administration with a speciality in Strategy. Also, I am working in a Chocolate company that is based in Mexico. So I am busy with both things at the moment.

The life that I have been achieving during these years in Poland, starting from zero will the point I am now. I feel really comfortable with what I do, with the people I spend time with, and to know that I can achieve everything I want in this country.

What do not you like about living in Poland?

The language is an important barrier, sometimes there is racism from some people.

Is it easy the adaptation process to live in Poland?

At the beginning it is hard mainly because of language, customs, traditions, the weather, but I believe that it is normal in some other countries, that dependes mainly on each person on his ability to adapt to changes. After some time everything becomes easier.

Are you planning to live in Poland forever?

Probably not. I think that I have to visit some other places during my life, but I believe that exist a link between Poland and I that makes me come back. It happens 5 times already.

Can you recommend moving to Poland to more Mexicans?

I think that I could recommend it, I do not know if it will be for forever, but definitely for a certain period of time. It is an incredible country and it has a lot of things that you cannot find in any other place, the experiences in this country are unique an really different. With no doubt any Mexican would consider Poland as an amazing country.

What do you miss from Mexico?

I miss the food a lot, the taste here is really different; the weather especially during winter; obviously my friends and family, but I think each person will miss a lot from Mexico.
